$99.00
Our aim is to foster a better connection between our First-Responders and the people they serve, in order to build a more resilient and supportive community.
Are you Prepared for an emergency or Disaster? If not, the answer is NO! In this exhilarating 2-Hour course, you will learn what to carry with you at all times, known as (EDC) Every Day Carry or Emergency Daily Carry + (IFAK) Individual First-Aid Kits. Our instructor will show you exactly what he carries with him and why he has chosen this exact equipment. Tailor your EDC to your lifestyle and workplace, and then go on living your normal life. But if something goes wrong, you'll always have your tools of the trade with you.
You will also get a glimpse into the world of active shooters and terrorism. Prepare yourself and your family for surviving this worst case scenario. Learn not to be "the deer in the headlights" victim, but learn how to problem-solve as things are going wrong. Your body will naturally enter one of the following three modes: Fight-Flight or Freeze. There is one mode you don't want to be in! With our Run-Hide-Fight scenarios, you will put some training and wisdom into your toolbox. Remember: You will not rise to the occasion, but default to your current level of training.
Also, learn a little bit about our current logistics system and what will happen if the power goes out for an extended time, or if we have another pandemic. What will you do? Do you have everything you need right now? Every Government Agency has given us ample warning, telling us to prepare with a minimum (3) days of food and water etc. Will this be enough for you and your family? Or does it need to adjust? We will show you how to do all of this.
There will be such pandemonium and uncertainty, you will need to know how the 9-1-1 emergency system works and why essentially you may be on your own (without services) for an extended period of time.
Other lecture topics that will be addressed include: First-Aid, CPR and (AED) Automated External Defibrillators, (CERT) Community Emergency Response Team, Firearms, Fitness, Situational Awareness and Self-Defense.
